A BRIGHTER FUTURE
Let's Make the City Work for All

ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work for You
I am an attorney and the founder of a local business that helps people to better communicate and collaborate. My mechanical systems engineering background means I see the big picture and the details at once, anticipating problems before they arise and looking for gaps others miss. I have spent a decade as an active civic voice on the Central Coast, creating impactful community organizations and raising important questions with local governing bodies.
I also served as a director on the Oceano Community Services District board, where I gained skills in local governance and an understanding of issues faced by South County communities. I've been a Five Cities resident for ten years, including one year in Shell Beach and the last four in Pismo Beach, where I have observed the city's priorities up close.

My goal is to make Pismo Beach a city that works for all of us.
Priorities
Tourism
& Residents
in Balance
Visitors fuel our economy, but residents deserve an equal say.
I'll advocate for a Resident Advisory Panel and formal protections to balance tourism and resident quality of life.

Multimodal Transporation
The city's walking and biking plans exist on paper. I'll push to fund the gaps, enact the 2013 Complete Streets plan, and make getting around safer for everyone — on foot, by bike, or with mobility challenges.

Climate Change:
Fire & Water
Hillside wildfire risk, flooding, coastal erosion, and water supply are connected threats from our changing climate.
I'll prioritize completing the overdue Safety Element and planning for a new future with these challenges in mind.

Senior Support
Nearly a third of Pismo Beach residents are over 65 — yet seniors are often treated as an afterthought in city planning.
I'll push to make our largest vulnerable population a genuine priority.

"My vision for the city is a Pismo Beach that works for all of us: tourists and residents, young and old, those threatened by the rising sea and those at risk of wildfire."
Good Government
Good government is transparent, accountable and proactive.
I'll advocate for a city that operates in sunlight with eyes wide open and a plan, not with hope and band-aids.
